FDP Pro Range Extender Antenna with o-ring seal.

This antenna is the same as our normal FDP Range Extender Antenna, but comes with a base sealing o-ring to suit the FDP Pro.

This antenna is 36cm long and being a 5/8 wave, shows an approximate gain of 3dB over the standard 1/4 wave that is supplied standard with most CB Handhelds.

This equates to a virtually increase in the effective output power and receive signal.

Additionally, the so called ‘picket-fencing’ or type of signal flutter that results when a vehicle is in motion is greatly reduced when a 5/8 wavelength antenna is employed.

The difference is noticeable when using this antenna in fringe areas.
