Reachable up to 9 km radius on perfect terrain and atmospheric conditions. This handheld UHF CB radio has 83 DCS codes (Digital Coded Squelch) with automatic squelch control, duplex range extender with automatic scan, 38 interference eliminator codes to achieve crystal clear sound during transmissions. It also comes with dual channel monitor and hands free (VOX) capable.

40CH Wide-Band & 80CH Narrow Band
The ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) restructured the UHF CB band and increase its capacity from 40 up to 80 channels. Older radios that operate on only 40 UHF-CB channels are “Wideband” radios and the newer radios that will operate on the 80 UHF-CB channels are “Narrowband” radios. Both Narrowband radios and Wideband radios can communicate together normally as always on the first 40 channels. Only the new Narrowband radios will have the additional channels up to channel 80.
